ABOUT THE ARTIST

Izzy Poehlmann (they/them) is a Scenic Artist & Designer based in Central Texas and earned their BFA in Theatre Design & Technology from Baylor University in May 2023. Their goal as a scenic artist is to broaden their knowledge and experience and to make lasting connections with the people they work with.

 

When they were an undergraduate, they worked with multiple professional theatres in Texas as well as with the Royal Shakespeare Company in England. They hope to be working with theatres in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in the near future. In their free time they enjoy a cup of tea while reading, or watching a show with their cats to unwind. They also enjoy posting about their latest painting feats on their instagram @scenic_izzy
